This summer we went to Essex County in Ontario, Canada. The kids had never been out of the country and we thought it was about time. We enjoyed an afternoon at Point Pelee National Park, although we could have done without the stable flies. We were able to enjoy the beach as the flies were mainly at the point. We drove into Michigan for a Detroit Tigers game and enjoyed the view of Lake Erie from our house. We also stopped at Deerfield Village for a day enjoyed the history of all of the different houses that were there.
